New Development with Specialist

I logged into game today and some mage Father from specialist hits me. I have no idea why.. So I Ask him and he says he will now hit me because he is some alt SELLnBUY that threatened me earlier a few days ago...

Here is the story:

A few days ago someone was selling some items, So I pmed him about the items.. This is what he said:

He told me not to "beg" for peace like before, I have never begged for peace from specialist or Happy. If there was a confusion I try to work it out. A few times Happy hit me but we worked out the confusion, I hope we can work this confusion out.

You see he was selling a 7vamp so I asked him about it and then I said good luck because I think he asked to much. He decided to insult me and then exclude me.  By his manners, I assumed he was someone in pumpkin, they always pm me and trash talk. So I thought nothing of it. Then I log in today and he hits me because I "trash talked" his pledgless alt...

As you can see that is not true and frankly I am not a trash talker. I never say "done" or "eat meats" or anything like that. So I know he makes up stories. I think Father is a Bully who wants some reason to hit a new player. I hope I am wrong and that Specialist will figure this out.  This is not a nice way to treat people.. I am a new player trying to play and be peaceful (mostly :) those pumpkins are fun to fight). I hope all of specialist does not now hit me because of 1 player on an alt.

Also, it seems like bad manners to pm someone from an alt, talk rudely to them and then get on their main character who is in a major fighting pledge and say now I hit you. Again, this player is only looking for a justification to hit me..

I hope others have more honor.

UPDATE:

I spoke with Go and he helped sort everything out. He said that only Father will hit me. That he has personal fight with me I guess. I appreciate Go's help because I do not wish to fight Father or Go and any of specialist.

Thanks to Go. I hope the rest of Specialist does not hit me. This server so hard, if make one bad decision or do something wrong that you do not even know is wrong, someone strong might hit you for life. I ask that strong veteran players to be more patient with newer players. It will scare them off if you treat them this way.

Real Duels!! To the Death!!

A staple in the game of lineage is dueling. It started on TI on the docks and progressed all over aden.  It usually happens on zero at giran pot shop door.  Everyone tries to flex their muscles and show how strong they are. I have done it along with most of the server I am sure.  The problem with these duels is that they don't really represent what happens in the PVP field. Sure, everyone has the courage to duel when nothing is at stake. Well the other day I logged in game to some interesting kill announcements:

Happy was conducting real duels!!! Instead of wasting time in doorway they had contests to see who is really stronger and I just thought that that was awesome. Now I don't think I would have the courage to try it, dying sucks but they did so kudos to them.


I tried to go watch but every time I did they hit me.

I don't blame them at all. I wouldn't want anyone around I didn't know or trust either. All it would take is a few hits towards one of the duels to try and kill someone. So I dont have any screenshots of it but lets just say next time you think about dueling in the doorway... grow a pair in duel in the field. No venz 1v1 fights til death. So cool, so much respect.

Killing ToI Bosses and Pumpkin Bosses

I have been grinding hard, I hope to hit 76 at the end of the weekend. Not much to say about leveling other than TOI 20f, TOI 60f, and GP4 is so boring.. But I am ready to push to at least level 78. But while I am grinding I am always looking for bosses and some pumpkins. The last few days I have found both!

Now to the Bosses of Pumpkin!!

Here is Int, that is my destroy that led to Kiho's final blow. I didn't get his name but thats the dead DK on the ground. Int doesn't die often so it was a nice kill. Also at this fight Kiing and DoYou died.

About 5 minutes after Int died, the leader of Pumpkin, SHUTUP dropped. Again, you can see my destroy^^.

The House of El has a "House"

As soon as I became a leader of a pledge I wanted a pledge house. Well this morning I won my first auction. It took some time to figure out how to do it because it is in Korean but here is how to do it..

First you click on the Auction House Board in Giran city:

Once you click on the auction board this screen comes up. You can then double click on one of the house listings and this screen comes up:

I think here they give some details about the house, I can't understand it. when you click the top option it shows you a map of all the houses so you can see where the house is that you are bidding on.

The house you will bid on is flashing red. All the houses that are dull in color are already owned, so if you see a house you would rather have go back and choose a different house listing. 

Once you find a house you like, you click on the second option listed up above and it will bring up a bid screen. The minimum bid is 100k with max 100m. I bid 200k and won a great house.

This is our house, it is pretty large and it is just south of Giran City. It also has an "Underground Hideout" which is cool.

Also we have welcomed a few more members to our ranks.

I got in a few more fights which is always fun:

It becomes very hard not to get obsessed with your kills to death rations (KD). I have been lucky that I havent died that much yet, but I have had many close calls.

Lastly, I had a nice talk with Zero and he told me some of his plans!! He has so much great stuff coming up. I think what will be most helpful is this:

Zero is going to make a DB for English speakers. That will be so great!

Eating Pumpkins while Hunting Bosses

The exp definitely gets slow at 75 so I have been spending most of my time in game hunting bosses and looking for small fights. I have also been trying to recruit. Here are some shots of both!

Learning the Rules of PVP and New Enemies

It has been a long time since I have played lineage, and alot has changed. I have missed many things about the game but I think what I miss most is the huge PVP fights that happen. Well on Zero there are huge fights with lots of fun PVP (to watch hehe). I decided to go to watch a siege and it was very fun. There are two major pledges on Zero much like Paldo and Sol. They are always fighting each other and fighting for castle.

I couldn't get very close because I don't want these pledges to think I am there to fight.

However, at the siege I did get hit by someone in Happy and was very confused why I got hit. I had a very good conversation with SUYA, the leader of Happy and he explained some rules of PVP on zero.  I did not know these rules so I thought I would share them so others don't find themselves in a problem with a big pledge.

This is where the story starts:

So about 2 weeks ago in GP I got hit by a person in Pumpkin. He actually killed me, It all happened so fast I don't even know who it was? Remember I haven't played in years and have not pvped in a long time. I did not have immune on and he coced me and destroyed me, man it hurt... I died. I think it was SoYou? Well this all happened before I thought I would make a blog so I don't have a SS. So I decided that we would fight pumpkin. All my new members I tell them to not fight to just level. If you see pumpkin to venz and just level.

Well I was at a fight in GP where specialist was fighting happy. Also, pumpkin was there so I started hitting them. This is what happened:

Those were my destroys so I was close to last hit.

As you can see both specialist and happy hit pumpkin. I guess Pumpkin fights everyone and thats why they hit me. Well later a few days ago, at a fight Happy started hitting me. So I left and asked why, I never got answer so I stayed away from Happy.

Fast forward to the siege and I got hit again, so I ask SUYA and he explained it to me.

Happy is not an ally with Pumpkin but when Specialist and Happy is fighting, Happy hits specialist and not Pumpkin. So when I hit pumpkin, they thought I was enemy. SUYA explained that when specialist and happy are fighting to not hit Pumpkin. This is why they hit me. So to all people, do not hit pumpkin when specialist and Happy are fighting. I hope that makes sense.

So now I only fight Pumpkin without others around. I am getting my old pvp skills back slowly:

These guys did hurt alot. I had to use aclears and immune. I got lucky here. Zone did not immune driedfish and then he destroyed me. I knew he had destroy delay so I hit driedfish with many erupts and then hit with a destroy. I managed to get him.

Then later I got a few more in 1 versus 1 fights

Got this mage twice..

I was at my first big fight this morning in GP! It was so much fun and so exciting, my heart was pounding the whole time. A few of them died..

Then the worst thing happened..

I died. I am sure everyone says this when they die, but it was very strange. I get stunned alot because I am low level which is fine but one time I got a stun and then my whole game froze. Not like a normal stun but I was there for 1 whole minute frozen. Eventually I realized the game bugged out so I logged out and logged in and I was dead. O well I remember from Dep that everyone dies and I am still new I will die many more times I am sure. I just wonder what caused my game client to freeze?

I also learned about another rule a few days ago. I was fighting a boss and this happened:

Here I am getting hit again and I know that I must of been doing something wrong.. So I left and whispered MARS to find out. Like SUYA, he was very nice to me and explained what happened.

So all players be aware, boss area is open pvp area so be careful. Also, I would tell you to not hit them if they hit you. Just leave that area, 1 boss drop not worth having to fight Happy or specialist. Thanks though to MARS for explaining this to me.
